About The Studio
Perennial at its core is an ode to endurance, to rawness, to development and change. It’s the belief that authenticity and adversity are inextricably linked - that the challenges we face are what make us stronger.
I’m a maker at heart, and the development of Perennial has become the manifestation of my beliefs through the lens of my experience. As a studio, we center the elements of design that are timeless, by making objects that are understated and intuitive. Materiality and manufacturing processes come to define the formal language of the design work.
Perennial Design Studio was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in the spring of 2024 by Elliott Rosenberg. An Interdisciplinary designer currently living in Brooklyn, Rosenberg fell in love with the immense wisdom of the natural world from a young age, growing up in the redwood trees in northern California. He built a deep passion for design and making through countless hours in the woodshop, and went on to study Furniture Design, Materials Engineering, and Computer Science at the Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University.
